The New York Mental Health Group (NYMHG) provides mental health and forensic mental health services to private individuals and those involved in the criminal justice system. Services include various diagnostic evaluations, risk assessments, integrated treatment interventions, psychopharmacological intervention, and polygraph testing. Evaluations can be conducted, and treatment can be delivered in both English and Spanish.  

The New York Mental Health Group provides individually based treatment and offers a variety of treatment modalities including, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. To increase the potential for effective participation in treatment, and maximize your potential to effect change, services are delivered in a manner that considers individual factors (e.g., level of functioning, learning style, motivation, psychiatric stability). The intensity and frequency of service delivery is dependent upon your clinical needs and responsivity.

Clinicians at The New York Mental Health Group have years of experience working with individuals who present with various mental health issues, and those who require assistance and support while navigating the criminal justice system. It is common practice for clinicians to collaborate across various agencies and disciplines regarding treatment progress; collaboratively strategize and coordinate services; and follow the administrative guidelines and procedures of referral sources for the evaluation and treatment of their clients.
